Digital Recording

MSA recording is a 24-track digital recording facility with the latest in recording technology available to you at a reasonable fee. Your next project can be recorded with the Tascam DA-88 modular digital tape recorder, or in full 96 bit digital audio with the Mackie HDR24/96 hard disk recorder.

Our microphone selection is second to none. MSA has a wide variety of Neuman, Crown, AKG, Sennhiser, Shure, Audio Technica, Electro-Voice, Sony and Beyer microphones for your next recording. And speaking of microphones, capturing the sound of a great microphone on tape is very critical, thatís why MSA recording has a large selection of outboard microphone preamps both discreet solid state and tube.

Digital editing, album assembly and compact disc mastering has never been easier or more affordable. MSA recordings digital editing suite is equipped with Sonic foundryís Sound Forge 6.0 PC based editing software as well as the Lexicon 300 digital effects processor and Mackie HR 824 reference monitors.

CD & Cassette Mastering and Duplication

MSA has been a leader in compact disc replication since 1994. Continuing with our dedication to customer satisfaction MSA now offers compact disc manufacturing packages that include full color inserts and tray cards, with direct on disc printing in an overwrapped jewel box. MSA duplicates cassettes on the KABA system duplicator; all cassettes are duplicated in real time on BASF chrome plus cassettes in a 5-screw shell. Cassettes duplicated by MSA are first generation copies from your digital master. Real time cassette duplication provides our clients with the highest quality cassette available. MSA can duplicate in quantities form 10 to 10,000 ask a member of our staff for details.
